About FAITHkids Curriculum
Snow Shack Media is releasing a brand new Children’s Church curriculum based on decades of working with kids: FAITHkids!
We’ve geared this curriculum for elementary-aged kids – Grades K-6 for small or large churches. The focus is on learning to trust God and developing faith in His Word.
Many Children’s Church curricula tend to focus on behaviors, attempting to build kids’ foundations from the outside. But as we see in the Word of God, the heart is the place to focus.
For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. – 1 Samuel 16:7b [NKJV]
God transforms us from the inside out. So by teaching kids to focus on our relationship with God and trusting Him, God will transform them from the inside out! We see the result in Psalm 112:7.
He will not fear bad news;
His heart is steadfast, trusting [confidently relying on and believing] in the Lord. – Psalm 112:7 [AMP]
That’s our goal with the FAITHkids Curriculum.
Along with the teaching resources, we’ve licensed cartoons, teaching, and worship videos from some great artists and producers you’ve seen before in Children’s Ministry; and they’re embedded right in the included slide decks! True to the Word of God, and visually stunning.

What's Included?
Everything can be downloaded from our website so there’s no waiting and no charges for shipping. Printed material comes in PDF format so you can print it yourself. Our materials are produced in full color, but they look great printed in black-and-white, too. The slide decks are also downloadable; just make sure you have at least 1.5 GB and time to download them since they’re such high resolution.
- Getting Started guide
Your initial purchase of FAITHkids includes the “Getting Started” guide, detailing the principles that we’ve used successfully in Children’s Ministry (after a lot of trial and error – and prayer!) as well as guidelines to follow in running your FAITHkids services.
- Weekly Lesson Plan
Each lesson plan has preparation details followed by a specific order of service showing which slide to display during each segment of the service.
There are scripts for the offering lesson and the main teaching. You can use these verbatim, or customize your teaching however you feel God is directing you. The main teaching section pulls out the key takeaway and primary points so you can just use those to direct your teaching if you desire.
- Weekly Activity Worksheet
These worksheets have an activity on the front – things like word searches, crossword puzzles, word jumbles, and lots more – and discussion questions on the back to reinforce the day’s lesson. They’re great for small group discussions or handouts to send home with parents to discuss the lesson during the week during family times.
- Weekly Keynote/PowerPoint file
This is the slide deck that you use for audio and visual stimulation and reinforcement during the service. This is a vital part of the service, with the worship and teaching videos built right in. Super simple to use, but powerful tools in our multimedia world!
